METALS DETECTED IN FOOD PRODUCTS

The affected products have been widely distributed in Spain and other countries.

The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) has been informed by the Autonomous Community of Catalonia, through the Coordinated System for Rapid Information Exchange (SCIRI), of the presence of metallic foreign bodies in containers of nuts (almonds, peanuts and cocktail) of the brands ALESTO, CONSUM, CAREFOUR, DIA, EAGLE and EROSKI, from various batches and the expiration dates.


People who have the products included in this alert at home are recommended to refrain from consuming them and return them to the point of purchase.
